Out of a hundred people who are having problems with addiction, a very small percentage seek help. The reason most of the others don't seek help is that they don't think they need help. Denial is part and parcel of addiction. It's the cruelest trap. The very substance that traps them creates the illusion of well being so they don't reach for the help they need to live a productive, enjoyable life.
